Reports have suggested that online bingo is to become more interactive in the future and this is no surprise as the success of bingo clubs over the years has been as much about the social interaction as the bingo itself. With the online bingo industry becoming increasingly popular with new sites popping up every week, operators will have to consider how to make their site as unique and attractive to bingo customers as possible. Clearly one of the major downfalls of online bingo is that it does not have the same social interaction as in bingo clubs. Most bingo sites have the facilities whereby members can chat and message one another but this is likely to increase further as the use of video streams become more widely utilised. There are several online sites that already use live bingo callers and this is likely to increase in the future. One of the difficulties faced at the moment is the bandwidth of internet connections and as this increases the possibilities of having live streams from multiple different player’s video cams becomes possible. No doubt at some point you will be able to see the live feeds of all those playing in the same online bingo game on your screen at the same time. As and when online bingo is reformed in the UK and has to adhere to the same gaming laws as land based bingo clubs we could see further enhancements in technology with land based bingo operators combining their operations with their online bingo sites. Video streams and linked bingo games would bring around numerous benefits to customers as online players were able to interact with their club based friends and take part in bigger games.
