| ITV Revenues Surge on Bingo Adverts |

ITV seems to be seeing big benefits in bingo as online bingo company’s line up to advertise on the TV channel. At the moment bingo appears to be the most common industry advertising on ITV. In the last week we have been subject to adverts from many of the big online operators such as Jackpotjoy, Foxy Bingo, Tombola Bingo, Virgin Bingo and Wink Bingo. Some of the big companies have recently released financial information that shows that the competition between online gambling companies is higher than ever and success is highly geared towards high budget advertising campaigns. Many operators have gone beyond simply advertising to the sponsorship of popular TV programs with Emmerdale sponsored by Tombola, Foxy Bingo sponsoring the Jeremy Kyle show and Wink Bingo recently announcing its relationship with The Only Way Is Essex. The new Virgin Bingo advertising campaign features their online bingo mascot, Ricardo who sings out a catchy number advertising more free bingo at Virgin Bingo. As the summer months approaches we are likely to see less advertising campaigns for bingo as they are less effective. Money spent on high cost campaigns can be wasted as customers are either away on holiday or generally enjoy quality time outside.
