No doubt everyone will have seen the Jackpot online bingo adverts that have been popping up on our TV screens in recent months. In fact after Barbara Windsor left the BBC soap Eastenders the gaming giant was quick to sign her up for the latest advertising campaign which has proved to be a winner. The 'Queen of Bingo' advertising campaign won the award for the Best Marketing Campaign 2010 at the Bullet Business seminar last week. The campaign was first seen on our screens last September and has reportedly made Jackpotjoy one of the UK's most recognisable gaming brands. The campaign included a series of 30 and 15 second TV adverts shown on ITV. The MD of Jackpotjoy, Michael Saunders, said that the company had worked to produce a fully integrated, cross-platform campaign. The campaign was supported by a month of onsite promotions themed around the Coronation of the Queen. Saunders suggested that it was not enough to spend money just on TV advertising in such a competitive market place.
