A mother that won the jackpot while playing online bingo plans to use some of the money to pay for private IVF treatment following eight miscarriages. Leanne Jennings, 28, screamed in delight when she realised she had just won £100,000 while playing on Costa Bingo last week. It means that she can now afford to pay for IVF treatment, which the NHS had refused to fund as she already has one child. Leanne said: “We thought we could not have a child together so this means the world to us. If I had a choice between having a baby and winning the lottery, I would choose a baby. “When I used to ask my son, Joey, 10, what he wanted for Christmas, he would say a brother or a sister.” Leanne suffers with Polycystic ovary syndrome, which has led to repeated miscarriages in her attempts to have more children. Leanne added “After telling Joey she had won, he said, ‘Can I have £10?’. Now he knows the amount that has risen to a £35 computer game.” Leanne also plans to use some of her new wealth as a deposit on a three-bedroom house. Her husbands, Paul, who is a mechanic for pizza delivery bikes, is hoping his wife will buy him a stunt bike so that he will not have to build his own. The couple are also hoping to replace their 1998 Fiat Punto. Leanne added: “We never thought we would be able to own a house. I have always wanted to live closer to the countryside. “My dream would be to live on a farm. “It is a lot of money and it will change our lives. “About six weeks ago, I won £1,280 on online bingo and to us that was a lot of money and we cleared some debts. “I never thought I would win again.”
