The Majestic Bingo club in Worcester has teamed up with its local newspaper with a unique loyalty program that has seen numbers rising.

The club in Derwent Close, Worcester, has seen new faces since it started the rewards scheme for loyalty card holders. New customers that are members of the scheme get a £3 voucher to play bingo and existing members get £3 when they introduce a friend.

The club owner, Mr Cooper said: “As soon as we started the loyalty card scheme numbers were up a lot.

“It’s been good for us, particularly when it started but we’re getting new faces and repeat businesses and obviously the offer is still on.

“A lot of our customers read the Worcester News so it’s worked out well.

“The discount voucher can be used on the games, snacks and any drinks as we’ve got a fully licensed bar and refreshments.”

The club has traded through difficult times in recent years with the smoking ban and changes in legislation, and is now seeing a bounce back after the economic difficulties.

Mr Cooper added: “It’s not back to where it was before the smoking ban but it’s good. And we’re seeing a few more men these days which surprised me. However, everyone is welcome.”

The loyalty card is available to those that read the Worcester News six days a week.

If you are over the age of 18 years old you can get free membership at the Majestic Bingo club which is open every evening as well as Monday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons.
