A new British online bookmaker is being launched fronted by snooker professional, Andrew Higginson. Apollo Bet.com is is co-owned by Widnes, Cheshire businessman Paul Antrobus, his son Steven and gambling experts Leon Hosking and Chris Calderwood.

The online gambling site has taken nine months to build and the founders claim that is has the potential to rival some of the big names in the industry.

Hosking said the company is proud to offer more markets with better prices than any other online bookmaker, and covers a wide range of sports globally 24 hours a day seven days a week.

It is designed to give the punter an easy way to bet, whether it be online or over the telephone. Whatever you fancy, the site claims “to be likely to offer odds on it”. Punter looking for a bespoke gamble can email the site for odds.

In addition to betting the new site will offer video poker, table games, slots and instant win games.
