As the online bingo industry becomes more and more competitive many of the brands that can afford it are turning to advertising on TV and sponsoring big name TV shows. Wonder Bingo is the latest to run a TV campaign and is also sponsoring The Alan Titchmarsh Show. The online bingo operator is set to launch its new TV advertisements shortly which it hopes will increase the number of bingo players rushing to its site. Sponsorship of the Alan Titchmarsh show is sure to increase the awareness of the brand and this has been a tried and tested technique with the likes of Foxy Bingo sponsoring Jeremy Kyle, Tombola sponsoring Emmerdale and Red Bus Bingo sponsoring All Star Family Fortunes. The Alan Titchmarsh Show was first seen on ITV in 2007 and has been a big hit with viewers. Alan Titchmarsh is a popular gardening expert successful broadcaster and novelist. Best known for fronting BBC’s Gardeners' World and Ground Force, he’s also completed nearly 40 gardening books and has twice been named Gardening Writer of the Year. Alan has presented Points of View, Pebble Mill, Songs of Praise and Titchmarsh's Travels and has written several novels including Only Dad and Mr Macgregor as well as his memoirs Trowel and Error and Nobbut A Lad. He was appointed an MBE for his services to horticulture and broadcasting in the 2000 New Year Honours list. Alan has also been immortalised at Madame Tussauds, is the voice of Gordon the Garden Gnome on CBBC and enjoys sailing. He lives in Hampshire with his wife and family.
