Prince William and Kate Middleton could be associated the UK’s favourite past-time soon. The recently married royal couple are to be given their own bingo lingo, which may be around longer than they are. Mecca Bingo decided as part of its 50th birthday celebrations to run a competition to find new modern bingo lingo terms which will replace the famous and long used terms such as Two Fat Ladies 88 and Lucky for Some, Number 7. The new bingo terms now include Harper Beckham,7, Angelina v Jen, number 10 and William and Kate number 8. In an interview with The Sun, Claire Osborne a spokesperson for Mecca Bingo commented: "The suggestions we've had from our customers were really diverse, from the sublime to the ridiculous. "But what we found interesting was how they reflected modern times." With the game of bingo having been played for many generations if the new terms catch on they could be around for many generations to come.
