A clump of a pop idols hair has been purchased by gambling company which plans use the £7,000 memorabilia to make a roulette ball. The plans have got to be one of the most controversial market efforts by a gambling company this year. The clump of black hair was retrieved from the drain of a shower by a worker at New York's Carlyle Hotel after the King of Pop stayed there some time during the 1980s. OnlineGamblingPal paid nearly $11,000 or £7,000 in and auction and a spokesperson said that by using the hair in a roulette ball it will immortalize a 'peerless' entertainer. “The ball itself will be made to the highest professional standards ensuring it will be eligible for use at any licensed casino's roulette table,” the company added.
