The gaming company, Prasepe, has reached a agreement with the British social gaming firm Enteraction, to enter the social gaming sector in a project name “Beacon Bingo Special.” The gaming company plans its Facebook launch date of Q1 2012. The project is a unique bingo experience that provides a replacement for the real-money win experience. Facebook will be able to enter rooms to play against themselves and other players with the aim of building a virtual paradise garden. Players level up by gifting and receiving virtual goods in addition to playing the required number of games to progress. Along the way they can enlist the help of garden locals to help build momentum with specific boosts. While the games will be free to play they will be able to purchase virtual goods and enhanced progression. The project is the first planned product between the two companies. Chris Drake, Praesepe manager for interactive operations commented: “We operate in a fast moving sector driven by technology, trends and changing customer tastes, "Beacon Bingo Social sets the pace in terms of the social gaming phenomenon and draws on many of the community values which underpin the bingo experience and which will connect with players.
"This is a considered and creative deployment by an enthusiastic and committed team and I am confident that it will set a standard which the rest of the sector will aspire to.”
