With the New Year many of us will have made New Year resolutions to improve things in our lives for 2012. One lucky bingo player didn't have to make such promises after scooping £25,000 last week at the Gliderdrome’s national link-up game. The 21 year old male, from the Boston area, wished not to be named after winning the massive cash jackpot. During the bingo game, which sees bingo clubs participating up and down the country, the winner claimed for the full house on just 41 numbers. The man said that he been playing bingo since the age of nine with family and friends. Prior to winning the national jackpot the most he had won previously was £500. Andrew Malkinson, whose family run the Gliderdrome, commented “We're chuffed to bits for him. It's a great way to end the year for us and for him. "We seem to do well on the national game here." When asked what he intended to do with the winnings he suggested that he would be extending a holiday to two weeks that he had already booked.
