According to YouGov research the majority of people surveyed are against TV adverts for gambling. Reports suggest that the Majority of the British people are not happy with seeing certain sensitive products on TV. While 75% of people were against adverts for gambling that wasn't the biggest no no product. Nearly 80% of consumers did not want cigarettes to be advertised on British TV. Pay-day loans saw the same opposition as gambling with 75% against. Two thirds were against injury lawyers and cosmetic surgeons. Children's toys (15% against) and Universities (11% against) advertisement were the most favourable amongst consumers.
