Inverclyde Council have received an application to demolish the former bingo club in Port Glasgow which closed a number of years ago. The application also reportedly includes details of the developments of 24 flats to be built on the site which will cost around £1 million.

Home For You have made the application which would see the new building have four floors with each floor having six two-bedroom flats. In March 2010 a previous application was made and later withdrawn.

The building would have four floors each containing six two-bedroom flats.

The application is pending consideration. The building reportedly features a banner announcing a bathroom showroom ‘coming soon’ spring 2011.
