Bingo Players from all over the UK turned out to protest against the Bingo duty rise opposite the Houses Of Parliament.

A number of MPs also turned out to visit the players including Bob Spink, the MP for Castle Point in Essex to show his much publicised

support for the cause. All the main bingo companies turned out to join forces and demonstrate against this recent tax hike from 15 percent to 22 percent.

Over 500 players turned up as expected in the soaring heat, but the spirit of the crowd was very high. The Bingo Supermarket has taken numerous pictures of the event and they will be released with a more detailed report tomorrow.

It is believed that all the MPs and Government Ministers were made well aware of the bingo protest and it is hoped the Treasury will reconsider the tax hike it made in the recent budget.

As well as bingo players,Mr Paul Talboys of the Bingo Association, Ian Burke of Rank, Simon Longbottom of Gala Bingo, Patrick Duffy of Palace Bingo and Dave Holt of Seldis Cooper gathered together to deliver this very strong message " Tax Bingo Fairly".

Tomorrow will reveal a much more informed account of the days events.
