| 2009 Online Bingo Award Winners Announced |

This year's online bingo awards voted by the online bingo summit attendees have been announced. The brands were nominated in certain categories and made into a short list that was decided by bingo industry experts. The winners of the awards were as follows:- Online Bingo Portal of the Year - Whichbingo.co.uk, picked up by Phil Fraser.
Innovation - Cheeky Bingo, cashcade Best Newcomer - Cheeky Bingo, picked up by cashcade the operators behind foxybingo Best Marketing Campaign - Foxy's back, picked up by cashcade Online Bingo Operator of the Year - Foxy Bingo Best affiliate program - Income access, picked up by Nicky Senyard Best Bingo Software - Virtue Fusion, picked up by Al Haig-Thomas, MD The awards were very predictable; Phil Fraser Chairman of the event rarely missed an opportunity to lobby for votes during the afternoon. Cashcade operate and run many sites and sister sites along with many affiliates so was no surprise to see many of the votes cast in their direction. Virtue Fusion is the market leader and well connected in the industry along with income access. Bingo Supermarket chose not to put forward any nominations this year but did take part in the voting. All of the above winners for the categories were voted by Bingo Supermarket apart from Online Bingo Operator of the Year in which Bingo Supermarket voted for Tombola. This year's event had well over 300 attendees and is expected to rise to around 450 attendees next year. Ravi Virpal, the event organiser was delighted with this year's summit and looking forward to the 5th Online Bingo Summit next year. Ravi commented "with so many attendees, the number of venues in London to have the capacity to host such an event is becoming limited but I look forward to the challenge ahead".
