Land based bingo operators are set to join forces and increase the online bingo presence in the UK. Gala Bingo and Mecca Bingo already have a huge market place but are not showing any signs of domination. Smaller bingo operators including Buckingham Bingo, Carlton Bingo and fruitbingo are showing small but steady improvements on their network in partnership with virtue fusion, but the land based companies together with the National Bingo game are working towards plans of forming a coalition between their respective websites with the common goal of increasing the bingo market place.
It has been proven that online bingo and land based bingo does compliment each other as the previous worry was that bingo companies were concerned about customer loyalty in bingo clubs. Since the smoking ban, taxation issues, credit crunch and the online bingo explosion, land based bingo clubs have shown huge resilience and there are strong signs of recovery and confidence in the bingo market place. Independent Bingo clubs are also joining forces with other independent bingo organisations that do have a small online presence and hope to build relationships and use customer loyalty to drive active bingo players to a common site for the small independent clubs to have an online bingo offering. The online operators are also looking in to0 the possibility of marketing existing online bingo players to visit local bingo clubs and offering incentives for players who have been created online to have a go in a land based bingo hall.
