An online bingo portal namely online Bingo fans has slated the National Bingo game in a recent article whilst claiming the National Game are the 'official spokes-body for the industry'.  They have accused the National of being a 'pseudo-figurehead which collects fees and ignorant about what goes on'

Portal OnlineBingoFans launched an unprecedented attack on the National Game website stating the last news story was from August and then asked if land based bingo had really got this 'Boring'.

The portal has gone further by comparing online bingo against land based bingo with no facts or figures to support the case that online bingo is forging ahead.

Firstly, the National Game have never claimed to be official Spoke-body for the industry and this is probably confused with The Bingo Association for Great Britain.  The National Game is made up of members and is a non profit making organisation with the bingo industry as share holders.

The Bingo Association website is due for a makeover very soon and is regaining its strength within the bingo industry.  The National Game will surely follow suit but it is worth remembering that the National Bingo Game is for land based operators and not for online bingo operators, the website is not something the National Game should be spending its budget on.  It has quite rightly used the budget in the funds to provide state of the art bingo equipment to be enjoyed by bingo club players.  

Unfortunately, the internet is becoming a common place for bingo writers claiming to have an in-depth knowledge of the industry to write articles that are completely misinformed.
