Bingo players were disappointed on New Years Day after the heavily promoted game at Wink Bingo had to be cancelled due to technical issues. While the full-house prize of a Mini Cooper is still up for grabs, not everyone is happy about the outcome.
It has been commented that those people that purchased the tickets for the game are at a loss now the chances of winning on those tickets is less likely with more tickets being sold before the game. While the online site is benefiting from selling extra tickets they are giving all those players that had originally purchased tickets for the game an extra ticket. We spoke to a member of the site who was somewhat confused as to why it was not being played on the same day the original game had been planned for e.g. Friday night, or why not played at the first opportunity. They also commented that this is Wink Bingo's fault and they should not be cashing in on their mistake at the customers expense. Clearly we can sympathise for the customer, however, when do you reschedule a game under such circumstances? You are never going to please everyone. For online customers this is not so bad. With the biggest sites promoting this Sunday it will be a fantastic online bingo night. It will be like sitting down in front of the TV with all your favourites to watch - just don't forget to change the channel. |
