As reports have emerged of Wink Bingo's biggest bingo jackpot winner, giving a big chunk of her £25,000 to her local hospital, Wink Bingo have announced they will be matching the donation.
The lucky bingo fanatic, known online as myracar79, decided to donate the money as a thank you for looking after her daughter when she needed it most. The hospital will be receiving a further donation to the site as Wink Bingo announced they will match Myra Carbin's donation after reading the reports.
Myra, of Northampton, made the donation to the John Radcliffe Hospital following life saving surgery on her daughter Niave. With the valves in her heart not pumping the blood in the right direction, an emergency bypass was crucial for Niave’s survival. It has been reported that part of the donation will go towards essential equipment for the paediatric department at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Having heard of the generosity of their lucky member, Wink Bingo decided to make this story even happier. The online giant presented Myra and her daughter with a cheque matching their donation to present to staff at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Maurice Karpes, marketing director at Wink said; “we were so touched when we heard Myra’s story that we were keen to do what we could to help. It is another reminder that bingo is not only a lot of fun, it is also a chance to put something back into the community.”
With such a generous attitude it is not surprising that Wink Bingo are regularly in the headlines. In fact if you have not tried out this fantastic site it is well worth giving it a try. You can try it for free with a £10 no deposit bonus up until the end of April. |
