A former bingo club in Fulham is soon to have a new lease of life after planning offices have given the go ahead. CZWG has been granted planning permission to turn the derelict bingo club into an £8 million residential block.
The plans will include 42 apartments at the West London site. Having carried out work on a neighbouring development, Fulham Island in 2001, for Manhattan Loft and the Osborne Group, there are hoping that the new project will commence shortly.
The planning committe at Hammersmith and Fulham Council said the plans had been developed from a carefully considered analysis of the surrounding townscape and the scheme would be an appropriate backdrop and setting for a nearby church. The proposed plans will include 20 percent affordable housing over four storeys with a fifth floor to house three penthouses. All of the flats will have balconies or terraces.
The architect is hoping that work can commence in autumn. |
