A community bingo club has re-launched in Hebburn and is hoping for a luckier future. The club which has folded and been reopened a number of times is hoping to attract a full house organisers say. Residents in Campbell Court first got to play their favourite game at the club only a few years and it has been an important way of bringing people together. John Robinson, the organiser added: "The bingo was started as a way of bringing people together. It's more like a social evening with games of bingo and music from bygone years. Bingo session are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the Campbell Court, Penrith Road. "Monday nights are popular, but we are keen for Wednesday nights to be just as successful." |
