Bingo operators throughout the UK are preparing for another challenging period as once again the temperatures are set to plunge and the white stuff is expected to return to most areas in England at the back end of the week. For many bingo clubs the harsh conditions we have seen this December have posed an unexpected challenge and with the average admissions in bingo clubs falling by around 30 percent most bingo clubs will make a financial loss this month. For many smaller clubs and operators the fall in admissions may result in losses for the whole year and present difficult decisions going forwards. Most bingo clubs had to withdraw prize money guarantees and promotions during the first 10 days of December and with it being one of the most promoted and fun times within bingo clubs it will be a shame for both the customers and staff if the next round of snow is as severe as the first round we saw.
