Unibet has agreed an exclusive multi-year bingo licensing with agreement software providers Playtech. Under the agreement the company will use Virtue Fusion, a subsidiary of Playtech, services to provide an industry leading, multi-currency, multi-language platform. MariaBingo.com and Bingo.com, which are among the largest online bingo communities in the European market, along with other white label sites will be switching to the Virtue Fusion network. The company has already relationships with Playtech as it has been a licensee of the GTS games tab platform since 2006 and the new agreement builds on this relationship providing opportunities for further integrations of the bingo and games platforms. Henrik Tjärnström, CEO Unibet, commented: “This agreement marks a very positive step for Unibet bingo and we are pleased to be working with Playtech. We’re happy that Virtue Fusion have delivered a strong bingo client – designed by Unibet’s own in house UX team - which allows Unibet to gain the benefits of being on a network whilst retaining the unique offer in the market which is central to our strategy” Playtech’s Chief Executive, Mor Weizer, added: "This is undoubtedly one of the most significant B2B bingo deals over the past few years. The deal reinforces the strength of Playtech’s bingo product and its ability to compete in the European market. We are delighted to be growing our relationship with Unibet and are excited by the cross-selling opportunities that today’s announcement will make possible."
