One Yorkshire bingo hall is looking to the most unusual promotion on the 26th December 2010. Technically as Christmas falls on a Saturday, the bank holiday associated with it falls on Monday 27th and Tuesday will be the bank holiday associated with Boxing Day, but this is not stopping one bingo club from hurrying things on.

The Ritz Bingo is opening on Boxing Day and is giving Easter Eggs away to all attending! Manager, Alan Gamban said, " every year I try to find an unusual gift for our Boxing Day customers."

"By the time this day comes around, people are getting a bit tired of  the whole Christmas thing, and if travel companies can advertise summer  holidays, then why not an Easter Egg from the Bingo Club?"

2 years ago it was a set of bathroom scales, "so everyone could keep  track of how much weight they were putting on during the festivities"

Not many bingo clubs open on 26th December, but at the Ritz, they only  close one full day a year, Christmas Day.
