| Charity Appeals for Help to Fund Bingo Games |

A charity is appealing for donations so that people can play bingo and take advantage of other services it offers. A Stars is asking the public to donate to the children to ensure that is can continue to offer support to the families of people with autistic children. The club which was created for autistic children aged between five and 19 years old offers assistance to all the members of the family for people living in the Dorset area. Sessions take place on Saturday between 10:30 and 12:30 GMT at Budmouth College providing members plenty of opportunities to take part in fun activities including playing bingo. The charity also arranges day trips for the young people and their families. Treasurer for the group, Gillian Steadman, who has also been running the group for the last six yearssays it is currently facing a shortfall of £2,000 following government spending cuts. "For many it is the only place they and their children can go to be amongst others that understand the isolation that having a child on the spectrum can bring," Ms Steadman added.
