The Mulbarton Social Club’s Sunday night Bingo and Raffle club has raised over £1,000 for charity and is now entering into its second year hoping to raise even more funds for good causes. The club holds its bingo night every other week and has handed £1,000 to the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice at Quidenham and presented a cheque to Macmillan Nurses. Jenny Kirby the spokesperson for the group commented: “We would like to thank all the small businesses and players at our bingo for all the raffle prizes they donated. Without them we could never have raised so much money for these good causes.” In addition to the next evening which is planned for April 17 there will be a special Easter Sunday Bingo on April 24. There are no age restrictions on the club and parents can bring their children along especially in the term breaks.
