We read this morning how the family of a little boy who suffers with diplegia cerebral palsy are considering bingo fund a much needed operation and Bingosupermarket would like to donate the materials and equipment needed for such events. Bingo is a fantastic way of raising funds for good causes and what better way than to give a young boy the chance to walk. Robbie Davies of Lower Statton suffers from diplegia cerebral palsy, a condition which affects his legs and means he has to spend most of his time in a wheelchair, the Swindon Advertiser reported. The family are looking to raise £40,000 which is needed for an operation in America which will help the five year old to walk. Over the last 6 months they have raised £8,500 and are looking to boost this amount as soon as possible. For the surgery to be the most effective the operation needs to be carried out before the boy is 6 years old. There are currently plans for bingo nights and a raffle, as well as cake sales in the coming weeks. Bingosupermarket would be delighted to help out with the event and will be happy to provide free of charge the bingo tickets, pens and the loan of a bingo machine to help make the evening a success. Mother Kelly told the local newspaper: "Robbie is still really enthusiastic. He is starting to understand a lot more. "He says 'I'm going to America with my mum and dad and it is going to me let me walk'."
