Bingo sessions are being used to help a gymnastics club find new talent. The North Walsham Gymnastics Club is celebrating after a member of the club won the top prize at an athletics event and is hoping by fundraising activities it will be able to find a permanent home and attract new talent to the club.

In a competition in Ipswich Paige Yarham earned first place in the regional finals of the 2011 competition season and scored the highest points on the day in the vault, bar, beam and floor events. Nicole Powley also from the same club came 10th.

To help the club raise funds they have arranged for a night of bingo on June 3rd 2011 at the Gimingham Village Hall. With 150 children on the waiting list looking to join in it is hoped that the money will be able to provide more opportunities in the future.
