Bingo is a common way of raising money for good causes and a church in Cambridgeshire is doing just that to fund renovation works in the building. According to the local paper local fundraisers at Newton St James church have been hosting events such as monthly bingo sessions and themed nights to raise the funds needed. Efforts to complete the renovations works have been put back on two occasions now as they have had to use the funds as people steal lead from the church roof. Fundraisers are hopeful that the bingo sessions and an appearance from darts player, Martin 'Wolfie' Adams, will see their goals achieved in the near future.
