The online bingo giant, Foxy Bingo has entered into a partnership with Smooth and Real Radio in a 13 week promotion over the summer period. The new partnership took effect from 11th July, and will see Foxy Bingo sponsoring the Smooth Radio weekday afternoon show with David Jensen (1pm – 4pm) and the Real Radio evening show with David Heane (8pm – 12am). The agreement includes promotional voice recordings and links by the Foxy mascot and link on the Smooth Radio show giving players the opportunity to win £250. The managing director at Foxy Bingo, Noel Rowse, commented: “This is a very exciting collaboration for us as it sees Foxy reaching out to a new audience with our bingo offering. Foxy himself is the king of smooth, so it seemed ideal to partner with Smooth Radio. Working with radio legend David Jensen is bound to appeal to Foxy’s audience and we can’t wait to hear Foxy on air.” The GMG Radio’s group commercial director, Jonathan Gillespie, added: “This is a great example of how clients can now creatively integrate their brand messages in various ways as well as traditional spot advertising. The impact is incredibly powerful and by using both our Smooth and Real brands, Foxy is able to reach a wide target audience of 25-59 year olds.”
