It was reported earlier this year that Playtech and Gala Coral were in discussions relating to a long term partnership. The companies have now entered a 10 year multi million pound which will see Playtech provide Gala all of its online beting and gaming services.

Gala Coral runs over 2,000 betting shops in the UK and Europe and already had a link to Playtech as it operates 6,500 of their Videobet gaming terminals in its land based sites. The betting giant is also the parent company Gala Bingo clubs.

Gala Coral currently uses a number of different company to run its gaming applications however in the early part of 2012 Playtech Fusion will take over these services. The software provided has various applications which include online bingo, slots, casino, poker and mobile games. Gala Bingo will migrate to the Virtue Fusion platform as part of the agreement.
