A young woman’s dream to meet her favourite band was realised during a trip to her local Mecca Bingo club.

Lisa Campbell was making her weekly trip to the Mecca Bingo in Stockton, when she was joined by TV’s John Barrowman after being picked to appear on BBC One’s Tonight’s the Night – which makes normal peoples dreams come true.

John Barrowman and all-round singing and acting sensation made the appearance at the club to the delight of the 26 year old. In traditional fashion the trickster dressed up in as an old dear and caused a scene at the club to shock the lucky Lisa.

Lisa, who was picked for her bravery having suffered a number of serious medical conditions, was nominated by her longstanding friend Rachel Donoghue. Not only did she get to meet Barrowman but she also got to sing with her favourite band, The Overtones. Singing Come Back My Love, Lisa, was seen by millions of people on TV on Saturday.

Lisa who was somewhat nervous added: “I went out and forgot about everyone. I just focused on the band. As soon as I got off I wanted to go back again,” she said.
