A bingo club is raising funds to help to contribute to the lifelong dream of its longest serving member of staff who has a terminal form of cancer.

The main stage caller at the Gala Bingo club has worked at the The Embassy Club in Harpurhey for 15 years and is currently battling with bone cancer. Bulliy Czuba has always dreamed of taking a helicopter ride and colleagues at the club have arranged a fundraising activities to try make this happen. One of the events, which cost just £3, will include a complimentary meal and games of bingo.

Gala Harpurhey general manager Stan Kennedy is organising the event and commented: “Billy has been one of the most popular staff members throughout the time he’s worked at Gala Harpurhey. It is only fitting that his friends and colleagues work together to give him a great night at the Embassy club and realise a lifetime dream of the helicopter ride. All funds raised will go directly to Billy, no costs will be deducted for any of the fundraising.”
