| Mecca Bingo Club Prepares to Close to Make Space for Car Park |

Mecca have announced that they will be closing one of their bingo clubs in the next few weeks and the club is set to be redeveloped…….. into a car park. The Mecca Bingo club in Wallsend, Tyne and Wear is due to close in the next few weeks and staff and customers have been informed by the club management team. Mecca Bingo has a club in South Shields and hopefully some of the staff will manage to find jobs at the other clubs rather than being made redundant. It is believed the closure is another example of the unfair bingo tax system in this country. Customers are also advised to try out the Beach Bingo Club which is just a few miles away from the Mecca club. We have personally visited the independent bingo club and can assure those that haven’t visited the club yet that they not be disappointed.
