A bingo event is being held this week with a little bit of a difference. The unique musical bingo game in Balham will see music replacing the traditional bingo numbers. The Musical Bingo event with Jess Indeedy follows the normal bingo concept however the American Presenter Jess Indeedy and DJ Helix will play songs instead of calling out the numbers. Husband and wife team Jess Indeedy and DJ Helix have been sharing the musical bingo love since 2007 at various clubs, pubs, festivals and private parties across the UK and in New York City. These include National Theatre, Shoreditch House, Drink Shop & Do, Berry Park Brooklyn, The Bathhouse, The Baby Bathhouse, The Hospital Club, and Latitude, Glastonbury and Isle of Wight festivals. Players simply mark off the songs they hear that are on their bingo card and win a variety of prizes including gig tickets and electrical goods. Tickets cost just £5 each and the next event is being held at the Balham Bowls Club, Ramsden Road on October 14 from 8pm. Game themes include: Motown / Dance Anthems / 80s / Drinking Songs / Musicals / 90's / Rock Anthems / Love & Heartbreak / 70s / Yacht Rock / 50s / Soul Classics / Numbers / Hip Hop and many more.
