A former Top Ten Bingo could be used to bring the town back to life according to the new owners, Powell and Co Construction. One of the partners, Jason Powell, said the company had submitted plans to the council and claims that if accepted it would put Leominster “back on the map”. The company sees a bright future for the entertainment venue which would include bingo sessions, comedy acts as well as rock and pop music events. "We are not going to be knocking it down or turning it into flats as has been mentioned," he promised. According to the proposal the premises would have the capacity to hold 2,000 people.
