Mecca Bingo has been working with Marie Curie for the last couple of years to raise money for the charity. As one of the leaders in the bingo market, Mecca Bingo, has managed to raise more than £500,000 for the charity and one of the nurses has thanked the gaming giant personally.

Cath Hudspeth, who works in Somerset for Marie Curie has personally thanked Mecca Bingo for all its efforts. The Marie Curie employee wrote a letter to thank the bingo company. Mecca Bingo has been raising money in a variety of ways in both its land based bingo clubs and their online bingo site. Online players see a percentage of their tickets sales donated to the charity in the first few days of the month. In the bingo clubs there have been a variety of fundraising sessions, sponsored charity sports events and bingo games to raise money for the worthy cause.

Mecca Bingo have committed to raising as much money as they can for Marie Curie. In addition to the nine Hospices, the Marie Curie Nursing Service helps people who are approaching the end of their lives to remain at home if they wish to.
