| IOC After Further Commitment in Gambling Fraud |

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is holding a meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland this week to discuss with sports leaders, Interpol, Government officials and betting operators its recommendations for tackling illegal sports betting. With just 6 months to go before London 2012 Olympics starts the olympic body wants further commitment towards combatting illegal gambling and see somes parties as not taking it that seriously. According to the Associated Press, the director general of the IOC, Christophe De Kepper, commented: "We need Governments to wake up to the magnitude of the problem", reports Associated Press.
