Top Ten Bingo have closed a few more clubs since our last report on the Top Ten Bingo club in Neath. Reports are coming through that Silksworth near Sunderland has closed its doors and the bingo club in Stanley is also up for closure. Top Ten Bingo club in Blackpool was also up for the chop since the introduction of the new tax rises on bingo profits. Sources close to Bingosupermarket are reporting that more closures are on the way. Gala Bingo have also shut the bingo club in Dudley near Birmingham but this may be down to an opportunity to redevelop the property. Gala are reportedly suffering the recent tax hike and are looking to raise more investment. They claim to have around £200 million pounds in the bank but this is a condition of a banking covenant and cannot be touched for reinvestment purposes. |
