Bingo Pensioners on the rampage

BingoSupermarket reported a few weeks ago how a pensioner was barred from all 102 Mecca bingo clubs after arranging a customer trip to a rival bingo club. The customer was said to have been aggressive towards members of staff and this time Gala have now banned a 96 year old pensioner from all Gala Bingo clubs after allegedly punching the assistant manager in the face. The incident happened at the Gala Bingo Club in Pollok Glasgow.

The root of the argument was over the 96 year old woman's lucky bingo seat after an earlier attendee had sat down. The pensioner first threatened the occupier to move and when the assistant manager stepped in to calm the situation down, it is believed the 96 year old hit the assistant manager with a left hook.

The pensioner was then ejected from the club and management have now barred her from visiting any bingo club in the Gala Bingo estate.

A spokesperson for Gala Bingo said "We cannot allow our staff to be physically or verbally abused". Onlookers added "She lashed out and there was a big scene".

All is not lost with the pensioner as she may have the opportunity to promote online Bingo since Ladbrokes took the opportunity of making the barred pensioner from Mecca Bingo an ambassador for their online bingo site shortly after the reports in the press.
