Diane McNab, a homecare assistant was overcome with joy when she won a Charlie Dimmock-designed garden makeover at the Gala Bingo website.  Diane commented "When I got the call to say I had won, I was totally gob smacked as I've never won a competition before," Diane who cares for the elderly went on to say  "I just couldn't believe it as there was only one main prize and my name was chosen."

Diane McNab entered the online bingo website's April promotion and met the popular gardening presenter at her home in Shirehampton, Bristol, to discuss and design the £2000 makeover.

As her garden is her pride and joy, Diane was excited to meet Charlie and was full of ideas as to what the makeover may include.  The work in the garden will be started and completed over the next few weeks.

During Diane's meeting with Charlie Dimmock, Charlie said "Diane has a lovely garden, which I think can be really enhanced by putting in a pergola to add some shade in the garden and some raised beds so that Diane can grow rhododendrons and camellias, which she's been longing to do."

Diane mentioned "Before I met Charlie I kept thinking of different things that I'd love to have done but I kept changing my mind. I'm really pleased with Charlie's ideas and can't wait until the makeover is completed"
