The Bingo Association presented a new bingo variant to its membership that could change the way in which people play bingo.  Bingo Break which has been given approval by the Gambling Commission has already been trialed in 13 bingo clubs across the UK. Since the launch, over 130,000 tickets have been sold and over £85,000 has been won in prize alone.

The bingo ticket can be bought at any parcipating bingo club and is played at the participants convenience. The next phase of the game will be the Diamond Break whereby customers can buy a 1-60 number ticket (as opposed to the usual 1-90 game) and 10 numbers will be selected for that game.  As the tickets are bought in a sealed book, particiapnts can buy and play the ticket before or after the numbers have been selected.  !0 numbers are released and depending on how many numbers you match will determine how much money you could win.  It is a fixed odds game with a high rolling jackpot.

The prize levels on this new game will range from £2 - £15 and jackpots expected to exceed £3,000.  On average 1 in every 5 tickets sold will generate a winner.

A survey was taken on the game and 75 percent of bingo players said it was a good addition to normal bingo games, 82 percent like the fact you can play the game at your own convenience, 78percent like to see lots of winners.

More variations of the games are to be rolled out in the next few months with bigger jackpots and bogger spot prizes between £25 and £100.
