Mary Trengrove, 65 of Poole in Dorset has scooped £350,000 in the High 5 game exclusive to Gala Bingo. A further £350,000 was shared amongst the remaining 265 customers that played the game in club on the same evening who will each receive a whopping £1325 each. The High 5 game began in late 2007 shortly after the new Gambling Act following on from their Kerchingo game. It is linked between all of the Gala Bingo clubs twice a day in the afternoon and evening. Mary a Psychiatric nurse won the prize last Wednesday after shouting house on number 5. The progressive jackpot game had reached £700,000 and if you call the game on number 5, you win half the jackpot whilst the remainder is shared amongst everyone else playing bingo in the same club on the same Evening. The atmosphere in the club was electric with customers hugging and applauding Mary and this will obviously make her the most popular customer in the club.
