An assistant bingo manager at the Palace bingo club in Felixtowe is celebrating a £1 million win on a scratch card.

Mother of three, Audrey White 58 asked for a £2 scratch card at her local shop in Suffolk but was given a £5 scartchcard in error.

Not wanting to challenge the error from the assistance she decided to pay for the £5 card instead and try her luck.

To her amazement, Audrey scratched off the panels and a revealed a whopping £1 million win.  She stated "I could not believe it, I am still in shock"

A few years earlier Audrey White was close to losing her home after being behind on mortgage repayments, she has now decided to wipe the mortgage clean with the win and has changed the way she manages her finances.

Audrey will still continue to work in her role as an Assistant Manager for the Palace Bingo and continues to take the same bus ride.

Audrey also stated "I now have my own private banker, this sort of thing doesn't happen to a Bingo Assistant Manager" according to The Guardian.
