| Bingo Industry gets another Early Day Motion |

The bingo industry have managed to secure another early day motion in the House of Commons and is hoping more signatures can be added to it ahead of the pre budget report due on 9th December 2009.
The EDM as been put forward in the house of commons entitled 'Support for the bingo industry'. This is great news for the bingo industry, this shows the hard work from the Bingo Association may well pay off. It is a requirement for bingo club operators and bingo players to lobby local MPs to sign the EDM against the treasury on the rediculous tax rise to 22%. It is clearly showing the impact the treasury has done to the bingo industry and the mass of bingo closures. It is at least 29 this year. The Chancellor will make his statement on the 9th December. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the treasury see's sense they can't fix the damage they have already caused, but can prevent the industry from further reprisals. |
