Gaming giant Gala Bingo has announced that it is dumping the Nectar points reward scheme on its online bingo site and land based bingo clubs. Having been involved with the scheme for a number of years now the Gala is reviewing its loyalty program and will leave the Nectar Card Scheme as of the 31st May 2010.

From the June 1st players will not be awarded Nectar points and will not be able to spend them either at the gaming giant

Bingo players that have collected Nectar points will still be able to spend them at variety of other retailers after the 31st May such as Argos, Homebase, Sainsbury's or online Amazon. However, if you would prefer to spend them at your favourite online bingo site you have only two weeks to do so.
