Simon Webbe, former singer in the British boyband Blue has revealed that Bingo is the best place for a first date with a girl. The 32 year old, sex god gave an intimate interview on the more intimate details of his life to the Mirror newspaper.

During the interview the celebrity star was asked where he would take a girl on her first date.

“Bingo. Honestly, it’s such a good first date place. You get to interact, see if a girl’s coordinated, maybe win a bit of cash and have fun. No one thinks about bingo as a date and people laugh about it, but girls love it. And if you get on well once the bingo finishes at 10pm, you can move on to a club and go dancing.”

Simon was born 30th March 1979 in Manchester and is best known for his part in the boyband ‘Blue’

The band released their debut single "All Rise" in May 2001 and it reached number 4 in the UK singles chart. After a few years the band members went their separate ways to concentrate on solo careers.

In 2004 Simon Webbe co-starred in the romantic-comedy The Truth About Love, and the second acting project was a 2006 British gangster movie, Rollin' With The Nines. In 2007 he released a series of educational DVDs for children entitled Simon's Web. In 2008, he starred in British reality television show, I'm a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here!. On 28 April 2009, Blue announced that they have reformed and will soon return to the stage this summer with a new album coming soon. In 2010 Simon took up the role of Curtis Shanks in the Westend production of Sister Act at the London Palladium.
